Knock, knock

Who's there?

Woodpeckers are an iconic bird of the forests and trees. Most of the problems they cause are incidental to problematic at best.

What can they do?

Woodpeckers become a loud and noisy problem come spring time when the males find the loudest object they can drum on to attract mates.

What can be done

All woodpecker species are under Federal protection under the Migratory Bird Act and can't be controlled with lethal methods. A first line of defense is to use deterrents. Each device has a specific use for each situation.
